Support
The SEA Bursary Fund in Honour of Hans W. Cohn
Established in 1996 to celebrate Hans’ extraordinary contribution as practitioner, author, tutor and supervisor, the fund supports students who share his passion for existential psychotherapy.
Aims
The fund supports students who are passionate about existential psychotherapy and in financial need. By helping individuals advance in their studies and research, it also works toward a wider vision: making existential ideas and psychotherapy more accessible and present in the world.
Value
- The value of each bursary varies, depending on the number of applicants and available funds.
- We aim, where possible, to support students through one term of their training.
- Payments are made directly to your training institution on receipt of an invoice.
Who can apply
We warmly welcome applications from students who:
- are in Year 2 or beyond of a recognised postgraduate training in existential psychotherapy (MA, Advanced Diploma, PsychD or equivalent);
- are in genuine financial need;
- can show a commitment to existential thought and practice.
Support the fund
The bursary is sustained by the generosity of members and friends of the Society. Donations of any size help a student continue their training.
Application dates and the donation flow will be finalised with the Society.
